Last summer Mr Dean had his hip surgery at the age of 55 which is fairly young for getting hip surgery. He was in surgery for about 2 hours,. He recovered super quickly, he was up and walking the very next day. The cartilage in part of his hip was worn out so whenever he moved his bones collided and it was painful all through out left leg.

He remembers how surprised he was for how little pain there was right after he got out of surgery. since he expected to feel way more pain or feel really sore. they put a ceramic hip replacement after they removed the top of his femur with the worn out cartilage on it. His dad had the same exact kind of surgery when he was 55 also. Which i thought it was really interesting on how it seemed to be a genetic kind of problem.
