On the Wednesday morning of 10/4/2017 at North High School, students were concerned and talking about a shooting threat targeting North that was going around on social media. As the new got to the staffs of North, actions were immediately taken for precautions in respond to the unpleasant new. Emails were sent out to parents, mentioning the extra security measure while also confirming the threat to be a hoax. Despite the actions taken and the confirmation, many alerted parents decided that it was best to take their children back home to safety.

“I think whoever done that was immature, but I’m glad that North took precautionary measure to ensure the safety of the students” – Tytist Dean, a senior at North’s, stated his opinion on the matter.
